The Buffalo Bills have been a perennial title contender in the NFL ever since quarterback Josh Allen hit superstar status in the league and became a leader both on and off the field for the franchise.

Although the Bills have been a force to be reckoned with since Allen started leading the way for the franchise, Buffalo has been unable to get over the hump in the NFL playoffs, mainly due to the Kanas City Chiefs’ dominance over the squad in the postseason.

At one point during the tail end of the 2023 campaign, the Bills looked like the team to beat in the AFC as the team started firing on all cylinders at just the right time.

Unfortunately, once they went head-to-head with the Chiefs in the playoffs, it was more of the same with Buffalo going home empty-handed, leading to many believing some changes could be made during the offseason.

With veteran wide receiver Gabe Davis set to hit NFL free agency, the team could have a hole to fill downfield, with ESPN’s Matt Miller thinking the team should select a wide receiver in the first round of the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, via NFL on ESPN.

There will be no shortage of talent at the wide receiver position in the draft this year, starting with Marvin Harrison Jr. out of Ohio State.

Along with Harrison, who is expected to be the first wideout taken in the first round on April 25, there could be many others to follow in the first round, which could give the Bills an opportunity to bring in a talented youngster to replace Davis.
