The first day of free agency was a crazy one across the league.

Many free-agent signings and trades that went on, making for quite the day for NFL fans.

However, while it was a crazy day overall, a few teams, including the Buffalo Bills, didn’t make any massive moves.

Their fans expected them to make a few changes, such as signing a big-name wide receiver or filling some holes in their defense.

Field Yates recently reported that, while the Bills didn’t sign any big players during this frenzy, they made a move to help them sign other players in the coming days.

As Yates mentions, Josh Allen’s contract has been restructured, which helped the team free up $16.7 million in cap space.

With any luck, this amount of cleared money will be great news for the Bills, who hope to add the necessary pieces to best compete in the AFC this year.

With the amount of talent in the conference, the Bills have their work cut out for them, but if they don’t do anything, they will likely get lost in the shuffle.

They have been able to coast through the AFC East mostly over the past three seasons, although the Miami Dolphins gave them a run for their money last year.

While this has been the case, the New England Patriots are slated to be significantly better this year, and the New York Jets could also take a massive step forward under a healthy Aaron Rodgers.

It will be interesting to see how this division shakes out.
