After 24 seasons as the head coach of the New England Patriots, legendary head coach Bill Belichick and the storied franchise that has six titles to its credit because of him agreed to part ways after a disappointing 2023 campaign.
Even though Belichick is approaching Don Shula’s distinction as the NFL’s all-time winningest head coach, the 71-year-old will have to get it done with another franchise and will miss the entire 2024 season, as no team with a coaching vacancy wanted to hire him.
As if failing to get a new gig in the NFL after being let go by the Patriots wasn’t bad enough, Belichick has been getting some heat for the way he’s portrayed on Apple TV’s “The Dynasty: New England Patriots,” which he has taken issue with.
With the news surfacing that Belichick doesn’t like how he’s come off in the popular documentary, Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports reacted on Monday on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
“If you don’t like how you’re portrayed, then change,” Cowherd said.
During his coaching career in the NFL, Belichick has always been known for being grumpy and hard to deal with when it came to press conferences, as he was never one for conversation or talking about his team.
That said, it comes as no surprise that Belichick doesn’t like the way he’s being portrayed in this documentary.
