Patrick Mahomes has already accomplished so much during his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.
He already has Two Super Bowl trophies and two MVP awards to his name among other on-field accolades.
His performances on the gridiron are well-known by fans across the NFL.
What was not known until recently, is his impeccable ability to read a game and predict what is going to happen.
This was put on full display in Week 10’s Monday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills.
Mahomes appeared on the Manning Cast in a video shared via Ari Meirov, where he predicted three straight plays, including a Broncos touchdown pass.
This level of anticipation impressed both Manning brothers, putting Mahomes atop their “Perfect Prediction Panel.”
In this clip, Mahomes demonstrated that he has an incredible knowledge of the game of football.
Whether he intentionally did this or not, this felt like an audition for a broadcasting role after he retires.
Former players (including Peyton and Eli Manning) have been staples of the broadcasting and analyst world over the past several years.
More and more athletes are trying their hand at the profession to try and stay connected to the game even after they have retired.
If things play out as many expect, Mahomes’ retirement will not happen for a long time.
When it does, he’ll likely have several job opportunities that fall into his lap, and based on this performance, some form of football media seems to be in the cards.
