Over the past few years, after having some injury scares in college and on the NFL level, former Alabama star Tua Tagovailoa has proven to be the real deal under center for the Miami Dolphins and arguably one of the best players in the league.
Tagovailoa has gone from being a major question mark heading into his professional career to playing through some bumps and bruises to being on the verge of potentially becoming the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, which is an impressive accomplishment, considering everything he’s gone through physically.
The Dolphins and the superstar quarterback have yet to see eye-to-eye on a deal that could potentially make him the league’s highest-paid player at his position, but the consensus seems to be that it will only be a matter of time before Miami offers him the deal he wants.
In the meantime, his brother, Taulia Tagovailoa, is still trying to prove his worth as a potential NFL quarterback in the future, as he has reportedly agreed to sign with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.
The brother of the Dolphins superstar went undrafted after his time with the Maryland Terrapins and tried out for a handful of NFL teams, but he wasn’t able to make a roster for the 2024 NFL season.
That said, the younger Tagovailoa has pivoted to the CFL in an effort to make a name for himself and step out of his brother’s shadow, hoping to keep his NFL dream alive.
