After a lot of disappointing years in the aftermath of Andrew Luck’s shocking and unexpected retirement, the Indianapolis Colts have found it extremely difficult to find his replacement under center, as no quarterback that has come in since Luck’s retirement has been able to fit the bill outside of one year with Philip Rivers.

Fortunately for Indianapolis, there appears to be some light at the end of the tunnel for the struggling franchise, with the team bringing in Anthony Richardson out of the University of Florida in last year’s NFL Draft.

Although Richardson was considered a risky pick for the Colts, as many have doubted his ability to be successful on the NFL level, the former Gators star proved quickly last season that he may have a bright future ahead in Indianapolis.

Despite being impressive and incredibly versatile during his time as the starter under center early last season, Richardson went down with a season-ending shoulder injury.

However, he seems to have recovered nicely from offseason surgery and has spent a lot of time in the tattoo parlor, as he recently revealed a massive back tattoo that features the NFL logo right in the middle, via JPAFootball.

With Richardson back to being 100% and ready to get back to work under center, the Colts will likely have him starting come Week 1 when the team hosts C.J. Stroud and the upstart Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

It remains to be seen if Richardson has what it takes to be a franchise quarterback in this league, but the Colts seem to have a lot of faith in him and hope to showcase that next season.
