One of the things that comes with fame and being a recognizable professional athlete is that they can get hassled wherever they go, from concerts to grocery stores and even the airport, when they’re trying to get from point A to point B.

Things have gotten even worse for famous people and professional athletes over the years due to the emergence and popularity of social media, with everyone wanting to get a selfie or some footage of these athletes in public places.

Along with those looking for a selfie or some footage for their social media accounts can come autograph seekers, with some being more aggressive than others.

It appears star running back Breece Hall of the New York Jets knows this better than most, as he recently was involved in an incident with an overly aggressive fan seeking an autograph at an airport.

Apparently, New York Giants legend Carl Banks defused the situation, as he knows how it goes for professional athletes, and Hall took to Twitter to thank Banks for his help while saying there is a place and time for autographs.

“If you know me you know I always show love!!! There’s a time and a place for everything but harassing me at baggage claim ain’t the time or place. Thankfully Carl and my guy Joe were there to keep anything from happenin,” Hall tweeted.

Although some fans may think that Hall is arrogant or out of line for declining to give an autograph, sometimes fans should put themselves in the shoes of these famous athletes and consider what it must be like to be bothered every public place they go to.

There’s no telling how the interaction went, but it does seem like the fan was a bit over the top here while Hall was trying to get his bags and get to wherever he was trying to go.
