We are just hours away from the start of what will likely be one of the most loaded NFL Drafts ever, and this year’s draft will be especially loaded at the quarterback position.

This crop of talented quarterbacks is led by Caleb Williams from the University of Southern California, and just about everyone assumes he will be the No. 1 pick on Thursday by the Chicago Bears.

Being a starting quarterback means being the leader of a franchise, and Williams said that being benched a couple of times and a hamstring injury in college helped teach him how to handle himself in the manner that a leader must handle himself, via SiriusXM NFL Radio.

One thing the leader of any successful organization must do is not let people see him sweat and always maintain poise in even the worst situations.

The Bears have been in plenty of bad situations over the last 30 years or so, and they haven’t won a single playoff game since the 2010 season.

However, it is starting to look like they’re in an enviable position.

They have two very good and potent wide receivers in DJ Moore and free-agent acquisition Keenan Allen, a six-time Pro Bowler, and they have a defense that was regarded as on the rise this past season.

Chicago also has the No. 9 pick, which they could use on another wideout or pass rusher, or they could perhaps trade it for additional draft capital or a useful player.

If Williams goes to Chicago and does well from the start, the team could be a handful to deal with this coming season.
