The Pittsburgh Steelers have one of the best records in the AFC, which currently stands at 6-4.
They have won two of their last three games, a surprising mark considering their recent struggles at quarterback.
Alex Kozora, a Steelers beat writer, recently pointed out how Kenny Pickett has struggled, especially over the past three weeks.
Pickett has thrown for less than 175 yards in each of these three games and has only thrown one touchdown over this stretch.
Kenny Pickett's last three games:
– 19/30 160 yards 1 TD 0 INTs
– 14/23 126 yards 0 TDs 0 INTs
– 14/27 93 yards 0 TDs 0 INTs— Alex Kozora (@Alex_Kozora) November 19, 2023
Their wins have come on strong defensive performances, coupled with elite performances on the ground from both Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
Having a strong quarterback in the NFL is essential.
With Pickett’s recent struggles in mind, fans have expressed their concern for the organization’s future, especially if he is a part of their long-term plans.
They said he was the next Joe Burrow

Actually laughable. 25, second year QB and can’t move to the second progression. He’s done.

Dude is not an NFL caliber QB and should be backing up Mason and Mitch. This is ridiculous “management” of a team.

Many fans will look at this and say we’re 2-1 and he has no turnovers

If these fans were in charge, Pickett would not have a job as the Steelers’ starter moving forward.
It appears that there is little confidence in Pickett’s abilities to play well and keep the Steelers in games.
Ben Roethlisberger was a longtime starter for this team, a mostly beloved figure in Pittsburgh.
Pickett was supposed to be the franchise’s next guy, the next person who could help lead their team for the foreseeable future.
He has not been that through his first two seasons, making one wonder how much time he has left.
The Steelers might have a winning record at the moment, but if Pickett’s play continues at this pace, their losing ways could continue against superior opponents.
