The first wave of free agency has come and gone and the Tennessee Titans appear to be one of the early winners of the offseason so far.

After finishing last in the AFC South and missing the 2023 NFL season, the Titans made widespread changes to the roster.

Not only did Tennessee let go of former head coach Mike Vrabel and brought in Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, but the front office made a splash in free agency and the trade market.

First, the Titans signed Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley to multi-year deals to give Will Levis some dangerous weapons to work with.

Defensively, Tennessee shored up its secondary by adding L’Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie.

With all the new players on the roster, fans were understandably excited via PFF.

Ridley and Sneed were two of the more surprising additions to the team as the former was widely expected to re-sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the latter could have played on the franchise tag for the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, Tennesee pounced on the opportunities to add impact players on both sides of the field, making them one of the more intriguing teams to watch out for next season.

The not-as-heralded acquisitions should also be noted, particularly Kenneth Murray and Awuzie who provide some much-needed talent and depth to the defense.

Although the AFC South looks like the Houston Texans’ to lose, the Titans are signaling they aren’t afraid to try and compete and it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out.
