During his playing career in the NFL, superstar running back Adrian Peterson was considered to be one of the best players in the league and arguably in the running for the best player to ever play his position, along with the likes of Barry Sanders and Walter Payton.

Unfortunately for Peterson, he bounced around the league the last few years of his career and kind of got forgotten for the great player that he was in his prime with the Minnesota Vikings.

Of course, despite a reluctant finish to his playing career, he’ll be a first-ballot Hall of Famer when the time comes, as his resume speaks for itself.

Along with not being able to end his NFL career the way he wanted to, it seems as though Peterson may have come on hard times financially or simply doesn’t value the individual awards he won during his time in the league.

According to Dov Kleiman, Peterson is selling some of these individual awards, like his NFL MVP, Rookie of the Year, and Offensive Player of the Year awards in an estate sale.

During his Hall of Fame-caliber career in the league, Peterson played for seven teams, including the Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, then-Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, and Seattle Seahawks.

Over that span, Peterson racked up 17,392 all-purpose yards and 126 total touchdowns and is widely considered to be one of the greatest running backs of all time.
