The NFL is about to drastically change.

With the draft just around the corner, teams have an opportunity to shift the trajectory of their franchise with the right selections.

This year’s draft has several blue-chip players who can be the start of an organizational shift if everything falls into place.

Several teams are banking on this year’s class of quarterbacks, hoping they can come in and be a day 1 starter for their team.

The Washington Commanders are in the market for a new quarterback, and considering they have the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, they’ll be in a prime position to draft one.

While the Commanders haven’t necessarily revealed who they will take in this spot, Jayden Daniels has been gaining a lot of traction lately.

As Adam Schefter recently reported, Daniels is slated to meet with the Commanders next week.

This could be an opportunity for the Commanders to make their decision on Daniels, one way or another.

Daniels is coming off a season in which he won the Heisman Trophy, which could benefit him during the pre-draft process.

It will be interesting to see where all of the top quarterback prospects end up this year, given the number of teams who could use a quarterback.

Whichever quarterback lands with the Commanders, whether it be Daniels or someone else, they’ll be walking into a prime situation with several young pass-catchers who are itching to have a solid passer under center.

The Commanders have been working on their culture for the past few seasons, and to have a new quarterback in the building with the right attitude could go a long way.
