Sometimes you just need to enjoy a nice greasy, delicious sandwich! That is exactly what this chopped cheese sandwich was. Savory, cheesy, greasy and flavorful. The perfect bite each time. Best of all it’s fast and easy to make.
How to make the perfect chopped cheese sandwich.
Before you get grillin, get the veggies ready. Slice up an onion, a tomato and chop up some lettuce.
Preheat the griddle to a high heat and drizzle some olive oil on the flat top. Place the entire block of ground beef on the warm top, season with Dad’s Steak seasoning and press it down.
Add the onions around the beef and chop the seasoned beef to help it cook throughout. As it browns, flip the beef and continue to crumble. Add a little more seasoning for additional flavor.
It takes about 10 minutes for the beef to fully cook and it’s time for some cheesy goodness! Add 4-5 slices of American cheese on top of your beef and mix it in as it melts.
To assemble the chopped cheese sandwich, first toast up some french rolls. Add may on one side, ketchup on the other side. Add a generous layer of the cheesy ground beef, add some chopped lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Enjoy!
