Insider Reveals Cardinals’ First Impressions Of Marvin Harrison Jr.

Minicamps are taking place across the NFL right now, which means teams are getting an opportunity to take a first look at their new additions, including rookies.

One of the most intriguing incoming rookies this year is wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison.

The younger Harrison is looking to make the Arizona Cardinals competitive, and Omar Ruiz said on NFL Network that he has looked good so far in minicamp.

Many consider the younger Harrison to be the best wide receiver in this year’s draft class, a class that includes other blue-chippers such as Rome Odunze, who was taken with the No. 9 pick by the Chicago Bears, and Malik Nabers, who went at No. 6 to the New York Giants.

Some felt the Cardinals would trade down in the draft, but they kept the No. 4 selection and used it on the younger Harrison.

He had over 1,200 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns apiece in his last two seasons at Ohio State, and at 6-foot-4, he seems to have the prototypical size for the wide receiver position, although he is a bit thin at just over 200 pounds.

He will team up with quarterback Kyler Murray and look to elevate an Arizona team that went 4-13 in both of the last two seasons.

Arizona’s offense has been anemic during those last two seasons, but they now have what seems to be a star in the younger Harrison, and they hope he will develop into a bona fide star.
