In a matter of months, the Baltimore Ravens have gone from being in flux to being the favorites to reach the Super Bowl.

They went 13-4 during the regular season and finished first in points allowed on defense, and now it is time for them to prepare for their playoff opener in the Divisional round, which will take place next weekend.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson is expected to win this season’s NFL MVP award, and he will have a shot at also winning his first Vince Lombardi Trophy in the coming weeks.

Per SiriusXM NFL Radio, he says that whenever his team is behind in a game, he reminds himself of arguably the greatest comeback in league history that was engineered by Tom Brady.

“When we’re down in games, I’m like ‘Tom Brady came back and beat the Falcons in the Super Bowl, so…’”

That comeback came in Super Bowl LI when Brady’s New England Patriots were down by 25 points in the third quarter, only to come back and win in overtime.

It was Brady’s fifth world championship, and it was the one that seemed to cement him as the greatest player in the history of football.

Jackson has had his best season in a while with a career-high 3,678 passing yards and 24 passing touchdowns, 821 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns, and he capped off his year with five passing touchdowns in a Week 17 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Over the summer, it looked like he was on the verge of leaving Baltimore, as he couldn’t come to terms with the franchise on the huge new contract he was demanding.

But he eventually got his bag, and now his team has a great chance of winning its third Super Bowl title.
