After getting the best of the division-rival Miami Dolphins in the team’s regular-season finale, the Buffalo Bills were able to win the AFC East division title and secure the second seed in the AFC, which sets up a first-round matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers at Highmark Stadium during Wild Card Weekend.
With the Bills playing host to the Steelers on Sunday in Buffalo, Josh Allen and company have the clear edge against Mike Tomlin’s squad, which just learned that they won’t have superstar linebacker T.J. Watt for this playoff showdown on the road.
As a result of the Steelers being without their best player for this playoff game on the road, the Bills are heavily favored to come out on top and advance to the next round of the postseason.
According to Bear Bets Podcast, Buffalo is currently favored by 10 points to get the best of Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium.
Even though that is a lot of points to be favored by in a playoff game, the Bills might be more than capable of pulling off the win by 10 or more, as long as the offense is clicking and Allen is playing to the best of his ability while not turning the ball over.
However, this is in the playoffs, and anything can happen in the postseason, which means the Steelers cannot be completely counted out of this game, even though the odds are stacked against them.
Tomlin and company will have their hands full trying to stop one of the best offenses in the NFL, especially without Watt putting pressure on Allen.
