The Cleveland Browns are coming off a crazy 2023 NFL season in which the team had to deal with some drastic ups and downs due to major injuries to some of their best players on the offensive side of the football.

As if losing arguably the NFL’s best running back in the second game of the year wasn’t bad enough, with Nick Chubb going down with a season-ending knee injury, the Browns also lost star quarterback Deshaun Watson to a season-ending injury after only six games played.

Losing these two elite players on offense was thought to be a death sentence for the Browns’ season, but the team remained resilient and somehow finished the season with an 11-6 record and punched their ticket to the NFL playoffs.

Unfortunately, the season ended in the first round of the postseason, with the upstart Houston Texans and star quarterback C.J. Stroud proving to be too much to handle.

After an early exit in the playoffs, the team will try to improve its roster during the offseason but won’t be able to get any of the top-tier talent in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, with Cleveland having no picks in the top 50, according to Sunday Night Football on NBC on Twitter.

That said, the Browns’ options will be limited to start the draft on April 25 unless the team decides to trade up to land a player that may have caught their eye for one reason or another.

Even though the Browns likely won’t be bringing in any big-name players from the draft, the team did recently trade for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, which could be a step in the right direction offensively.
