One thing that the Dallas Cowboys don’t get enough credit for is how great their offense has been over the last five seasons.
According to NBC Sports, Dallas has scored 2,335 points since the 2019 season.
That is the most in the sport since then and proof that they aren’t having much trouble in the regular season.
Over the last three seasons specifically, Dallas has been incredibly dominant in between the months of September and January.
They have won 12 games in three consecutive seasons and have brought home multiple division titles under head coach Mike McCarthy.
Quarterback Dak Prescott has proven himself to be an elite quarterback.
Last season, he led the league in completions (410) and touchdown passes (36).
The All-Pro should be getting a hefty contract pretty soon because of how well he has played recently.
All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb led the league in receptions last season (135) and showed everyone that he is a top-five receiver.
The offensive line, led by All-Pro guard Zack Martin, always tends to be a top-notch unit too.
The problem for this team, however, occurs in January when they set themselves up for a deep playoff run.
Over the last five seasons in total, this franchise has won just one playoff game.
It has especially been very disappointing over the last three years after plenty of great regular seasons.
The offense has not been as good in the playoffs, and the defense has not been good enough to save Prescott and Co.
When Cowboys fans see this stat, their joy may go away quickly when they realize it amounted to nothing.
