smoked hot onion dip

Who can resist the combo of cheese and onion? And once you cook them together, it’s one of those dishes you can’t stop eating.

It’s super easy to whip up and has only three ingredients: cheese, onions, and mayonnaise. You can prep it in advance and pop it in the smoker an hour before your guests arrive.

Just remember to include a scooping utensil; double dipping will be rife!

smoked queso dip in a serving dish with a tortilla being dunked in it.

This might not be an everyday dip, but it is definitely something to have when you’re looking for a little extra indulgence or some great party food.

It comes packed with four different kinds of cheese: cheddar, pepper jack, Velveeta, and cream cheese. These are all tossed into an oven safe dish with some Rotel tomatoes and milk. Smoke until everything is melted, and then stir until combined.

We’ve not added meat to this version, but you can add ground beef, chorizo, or breakfast sausage, all of which would taste great.

smoked beer cheese dip

If you’re having the boys over for beers, what could be better to serve with it than a beer-based dip?

It’s super easy to make: cheese, beer, and spices go into an aluminum tray, then it’s into the smoker for 45 minutes, and you’re ready to dip.

We like to pretend we’re in Germany when eating this one, so it’s served with pretzels, big and small.

smoked spinich dip with bread

Along with a lot of cheese, it’s also got spinach and artichokes in it; it must be a little bit good for you.

This is a classic game-day dip that we’ve put in the smoker for a bit of extra flavor.

It’s also a great dip to make ahead of time then you only need to re-heat it when your guests arrive.

Smoked chili cheese dip

This recipe couldn’t be simpler: Put a slab of cream cheese in a skillet. Pour over a can of chili, pop it in the smoker, and forget about it for 45 minutes.

Once all melted give it a good stir and top with shredded cheese. Pop it back in the smoker for 15 minutes until the cheese is all melted, and then you’re good to go.

We like to serve it with Frito Scoops chips. The flavor of the corn chip with the chili is a great combo.

smoked jalapeno popper dip

If it’s a bit of tasty heat you’re after, look no further. All the flavors of a jalapeño popper but in one large dish.

This is a low-effort dip, especially if you cook it in your Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Oven.

We like to roast the jalapeños and garlic first. The jalapenos become slightly sweet, and the garlic becomes creamy, and both take on a little smoke. Then, mix them with cheese, sour cream, Rotel, and bacon and smoke until all melty.

And you know, of course, if you do love that blue cheese funk, you can surely add it.

Bacon and cheese, have I got your attention?

Smoked cream cheese has a sublime texture. Top it with crispy bacon and a drizzle of honey, and you have a warm dip with it all: smoky, creamy, sweet, and crispy.

If honey and bacon aren’t your thing, try spicy pepper jelly, bacon jam, or sweet chili sauce; they taste great.

flavor

Salsa is a great thing to have hanging around in your fridge. It gets better with age and is always good for a last-minute dipping option.

We’ve taken classic red salsa ingredients—tomatoes, jalapeños, poblano peppers, and onion, and smoked them over hot coals. This really makes for a deeper-flavored salsa. We whizzed them up with cilantro, garlic, and lime juice, adding a nice freshness.

This salsa is not just limited to dipping. Put it on your tacos or carne asada as well.
