With the NFL season officially over for the Philadelphia Eagles, the team has been reflecting on a disappointing season that should’ve ended much differently, especially after starting the year with a record 10-1.
In the end, the Eagles turned out to be a mess, with the players seemingly unmotivated and irritated, while head coach Nick Sirianni was thought to be on the hot seat after the playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
One star player in Philadelphia who seemed to get wrapped up in a lot of drama during the second half of the season was star wide receiver A.J. Brown, as there were rumors of him not seeing eye-to-eye with the coaching staff.
Even though Brown and the Eagles’ season ended poorly, he still appears open to talking to the media.
During an appearance on “The Jim Rome Show” along with teammate and fellow wideout DeVonta Smith, both players were asked who is currently the best wide receiver in the league, with Smith believing his teammate is the best and Brown going with Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings.
Jefferson has only been in the NFL for four seasons, but he has already taken the league by storm, with a lot of people believing that he’s the best wide receiver in the game.
Although there’s a lot of talent at the position right now, perhaps now more than ever, Jefferson is definitely a popular pick for the league’s elite at wideout, with Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, Ja’Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb, and Brown also in the conversation.
