Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin just might go down as one of the greatest head coaches of all time.

The Steelers’ 30-23 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17 pushed Pittsburgh’s record to 9-7 and secured Tomlin’s 17th consecutive winning season as a head coach.

The Steelers could also make the postseason as well for the 11th time in his tenure in Pittsburgh.

Some fans took the time to appreciate one of the most consistent coaches in the league, while others wanted more from Tomlin.

The results might not always end in postseason glory, but Tomlin has put the Steelers in position to win ever since he became the head coach in 2007.

He’s also done so this year with instability at quarterback.

The Steelers have started three quarterbacks this year – Kenny Pickett, Mitchell Trubisky, and Mason Rudolph – with varying degrees of success.

And now that Pickett is healthy, Tomlin has decided to keep it going with Rudolph under center for at least the start of their Week 18 match with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Steelers are currently on the outside of the playoff field looking in, but will need some help to make the playoffs in the final week of the season.
