The Baltimore Ravens are knocking on the doorstep of their first Super Bowl appearance in over a decade.
The Ravens are slated to host the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and are primed to advance given how well they’ve played this season.
Baltimore has got the coaching, talent, and momentum to make a serious run at the Super Bowl LVIII title and this feels like their best chance to win a title.
A large factor in the Ravens’ championship hopes has been their relatively clean bill of health as they’ve got almost all of their key players 100 percent ready to go against the Chiefs.
There are a few players nicked up ahead of the marquee matchup against Kansas City which is why the team announced they’re elevating a couple of players from the practice squad via the team’s official Twitter account.
“We have activated LB Josh Ross and WR Dan Chisena from the practice squad ahead of tomorrow’s game,” the Ravens tweeted.
Linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips is considered doubtful due to a shoulder injury, while Tylan Wallace is designated as questionable because of a knee injury.
Josh Ross and Dan Chisena will likely only see snaps on special teams if they see the field, but this shouldn’t affect the offense or defense.
Lamar Jackson has been playing at an MVP level while the defense led the NFL in several metrics during the regular season.
Ravens fans have to be feeling confident about their team’s chances, though the Chiefs won’t go down quietly.
