After an embarrassing start to the 2023 NFL regular season, which included a devastating and historic loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Denver Broncos have turned things around while keeping their hopes for a playoff berth alive.

Even though the Broncos were recently crushed by Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions (42-17), Denver is currently sitting at 7-7 on the season and still has a chance to be playoff-bound if they can finish strong in the final three games of the regular season.

Fortunately for Denver, the team has a relatively easy schedule for the final three games, with the team facing the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers, and Las Vegas Raiders.

Head coach Sean Payton had some high praise for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, according to Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports, ahead of the clash with the Patriots at Empower Field at Mile High.

Jeudy’s future in Denver seemed to be in doubt earlier in the season, as it appeared that Payton was ready to clean house and use the talented wide receiver as trade bait.

Fortunately for Jeudy, he wasn’t dealt before the NFL trade deadline and may have a future in Denver after all, as it appears he’s in the good graces of Payton.

In 13 games played so far this season, Jeudy has caught 45 passes for 581 yards and a touchdown, which aren’t great numbers, but clearly good enough to remain with the team and earn high praise from Payton.

The Broncos are heavily favored to come out on top against the Patriots, which will help get them one step closer to the playoffs.
