The NFL head coaching cycle is in full effect again and there are several quality candidates available.
While teams like the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders have already filled their vacancies, teams such as the Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Chargers, and the Atlanta Falcons are still in the market for a new head coach.
Bill Belichick appears to be the frontrunner for the Falcons job, while Ben Johnson is reportedly the leading man for the Commanders position.
Meanwhile, the league is eagerly awaiting what happens with Jim Harbaugh who seems destined to return to the NFL coaching ranks.
Harbaugh, coming off a CFP championship, was shown in attendance at the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game to support his brother John and it sparked conversation about his next landing spot.
On the broadcast, Troy Aikman said he wants to see Jim coaching in the league next season via Brett McMurphy of ActionNetwork.com.
“I hope we see him in the NFL next year. He’s going to make somebody a heckuva football coach. He’s won everywhere he’s been,” Aikman said.
Jim has a knack for getting the most out of his teams as he previously led the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance over a decade ago.
The Michigan head coach has been with the Wolverines since 2015 but after winning a title it appears he’s ready for his next challenge.
The popular head coach should have his pick of teams and it will be interesting to see which one he ultimately picks.
