I know the pepperoncinis/banana peppers scare some of you. In fact, I’m not a fan myself. I love spicy stuff, but I can’t stand either of these peppers. This Mississippi pot roast in crock pot doesn’t taste like those peppers. They just add a little pizzazz. This is a wonderful and quick way to prepare a crock pot full of some of the best comfort food you can ever make. And when I say that it doesn’t take much time, I mean it takes less than 5 minutes. Chunking the potatoes into cubes and slicing the butter into tablespoons or pats of butter. Particularly if you go with cubed stew beef.
