After missing the playoffs again, the Chicago Bears have several tough decisions to make in the offseason.

The Bears have a lot of talented young players on their roster, though the biggest question mark is the quarterback position.

Justin Fields had a strong finish to the 2022 NFL season, but a slow start to 2023 led many to believe that he would be let go following the season.

However, Fields once again flashed his tantalizing potential in the second half of the year and now the front office must decide whether or not he’s their franchise quarterback.

Chicago has the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft where they could draft a potential superstar in USC’s Caleb Williams to lead their team.

Despite the chatter, the Bears posted a video of Fields that led to mixed reactions from the fans via the team’s official Twitter account.

There is a contingent of fans who believe the best route forward is to keep Fields and surround him with more offensive talent.

However, there’s also the section of the fanbase that believes it would be better for the organization to reset the quarterback clock with someone like Williams and trade Fields for whatever draft capital they can get.

There are solid arguments to be made for both sides, but if a team is unsure about their quarterback it would be in their best interest to start fresh with a prospect they feel confident about.

Nothing has been reported one way or the other, but Fields remains an interesting player that several teams would be interested in should he become available.
