After what was perceived as a “down year” for the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid’s squad has been a completely different football team during the NFL playoffs, as they have defied the odds, leading to another appearance in the big game.

One star player who has received a lot of criticism this season is superstar tight end Travis Kelce, who fell short of having an eighth straight 1,000-yard season (984) and had a very public relationship with world-famous pop singer Taylor Swift.

Even though Kelce didn’t have the kind of regular season that he would’ve liked, he put on a show during the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Kelce finished the contest with a game-high 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, which turned out to be the difference for the Chiefs, who are now once again Super Bowl-bound.

After the game, while celebrating being the AFC champions once again, Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, had a special message for him via James Palmer of NFL Network.

“You’re the best in the world,” Jason Kelce said.

With the resume Travis Kelce has put together over the course of his career with the Chiefs, he’s easily in the conversation for being the best tight end of all time, being mentioned in the same breath as Rob Gronkowski and Tony Gonzalez.

If the Chiefs can win another Super Bowl, that might be the icing on the cake for the 34-year-old.
