No team with a head coaching vacancy did more due diligence than the Atlanta Falcons, with the team seemingly interviewing every notable candidate out there before making their decision on who would be Arthur Smith’s successor.

Even though the team brought in big-name candidates like Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh for interviews multiple times, the Falcons brass decided to hire former Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris.

With Morris now in the fold for the foreseeable future as the Falcons’ new head coach, he’s got his work cut out for him to help the franchise get back on track and figure out what moves need to be made during the NFL offseason.

Recently, Morris was asked what he likes about the Falcons’ roster moving forward, and he didn’t hesitate to point out two of the team’s best young players on the offensive side of the football in Bijan Robinson and Drake London, via B/R Gridiron.

Last year, the Falcons made the bold move to draft Robinson out of the University of Texas with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, which is a move that few saw coming, especially with how running backs have been valued in the league as of late.

Fortunately for Atlanta, the move to bring in Robinson seems like the right one, as he came 24 yards shy of rushing for 1,000 in his first season and showed a lot of promise when given the carries.

As for London, he had another solid year, catching 69 passes for a career-high 905 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

Those numbers should go up considerably if Morris and company can bring in an upgrade at the quarterback position.
