After announcing his retirement before the start of the 2023 NFL season, superstar quarterback Tom Brady headed into an uncertain future in his post-playing career, as he planned to keep himself incredibly busy with off-the-field ventures, like attempting to own a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
Along with trying to buy a piece of the Raiders, Brady signed a deal with FOX to be a broadcaster but postponed his debut calling games until the 2024 NFL season.
During that time in between, Brady has been aggressive in his pursuit of owning a minority stake in the Raiders, teased a potential comeback to the NFL, and was the focal point of one of the most entertaining roasts in the history of celebrity roasts.
With Brady getting all that out of his system, he seems ready to make his debut with a microphone in his hand in the booth during the 2024 campaign, as he will start his stint with FOX when the Cleveland Browns host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 on September 8, according to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports.
The showdown between the Browns and Cowboys could be one of the best games of Week 1, which means the pressure will be on Brady right out of the gate to be a success in his new venture because they won’t be easing him into the gig.
Only time will tell if Brady is successful as a commentator.
