Making a Tex-Mex BBQ Sauce

  • Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced jalapenos and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds or until it becomes fragrant.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the saucepan.
  • Simmer sauce over medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low as needed.
  • Let the sauce cool for 10 minutes before using.
  • Store leftover BBQ sauce in an airtight container or lidded jar for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.

How to use it
